| The Blake Prize The Blake Prize, first awarded in 1951, is one of Australia’s most respected visual art awards. This non-denominational religious art prize is unique in the world, being open to all strands of religious and spiritual ideas by which society is shaped. It includes painting, sculpture, printmaking, tapestry, photography and other media. Of the 330 submitted works this year, 20 including the winning entry have been selected to come to Western Australia and will be exhibited exclusively at the New Norcia Art Gallery and Museum until 16th September 2001. |
