The Olive Tree has been associated with the Benedictine Monks and New
Norcia since the original grove was established in 1886. New Norcia
is still famous for its virgin olive oil (which was awarded a medal
at the 1908 Franco-British Exhibition in London). Today, more than
600 trees are harvested annually, and traditional Spanish methods and
original machinery are used to produce New Norcia’s renowned extra
virgin olive oil.

Unfortunately there are not enough olives to harvest in 2007 and we have sold out of all our 2006 Olive Oil. Watch this space for details of our 2008 Harvest!
